Zizzi was born in 1999 with our first ever restaurant opening in Chiswick. Since then we’ve opened more than 160 restaurants across the UK & Ireland. Our aim? To be individually Italian. Every time you dine with us, it should be for great Italian inspired food in an environment designed by individual touches unique to the local area. Zizzi is part of the Azzurri Group.
The successful candidate would be working in house in a small team of designers who work on the refurbishment and new restaurant opening programme of our Zizzi restaurants. Responsible for leading the projects and reporting to the Head of Design, whilst working closely with our project team (in-house and external).
This position will work closely with the Zizzi Board as well as the Property Team, Supply Chain, Operations and Marketing. They will liaise regularly with the external architects, suppliers, contractors and catering designers. They will also support in managing the capital expenditure each year.
We continually open new sites and refurbish existing sites to evolve them as our brand continues to grow.
The candidate will be office based in Our Edgware road Head Office but will be required to attend meetings on-site, travelling within the Uk and Ireland.
The Design Manager reports into the Head of design along with the Zizzi Design team. Azzurri Group is the trading company for ASK Italian, Zizzi, Coco Di mama & Radio Alice.

The Design Manager must be flexible, organised and have a great eye for detail. They will understand the latest trends and not be afraid to try new ideas, working within the brand guidelines.
They will be an excellent communicator and have good style. They must be able to multi task and prioritize important over urgent tasks. They will have knowledge of colour theory and be innovative in their approach to design tasks.
