    The Role

    The primary objective of the role is to lead excellent execution of Zizzi’s digital marketing to maximise engagement and conversion across all online touchpoints, driving new customers and covers in to restaurants and resulting in like-for-like sales growth. The position reports to the Zizzi Brand Manager.



    • A deep understanding of the Zizzi customer and brand to ensure all elements within your scope resonate with our core target
    • Planning and delivery of the Zizzi Social Media Strategy – working alongside the Brand Manager to plan the organic and paid strategies across Instagram, Instagram Stories and Facebook. Collaborating closely with in house graphic design and external agencies to create thumb-stopping content, before scheduling posts and monitoring performance. 
    • Community management of Zizzi social media platforms - responding to individuals and encouraging positive engagement, escalating feedback when required. Act as in house social listening & update marketing/food team on what’s resonating with our online audience.
    • Management of the Zizzi website - Keeping the site up-to-date with content and streamlined functionality. Leading new functionality projects with our website agency providing feedback and progress updates to the business.
    • Delivery of Zizzi e-mail creative briefs - populate e-mail briefing templates with engaging themes and content that delivers key messages and drives engagement, brief & work alongside graphic designer to bring to life.
    • Copywrite campaign and core brand content for the website, social channels, and e-mail briefs – ensuring that content delivers against key messages and is in brand tone of voice.
    • Deliver the digital elements of new restaurant and refurbished restaurants marketing campaigns
    • Developing and delivering the Zizzi PR strategy.  Working closely with our PR agency to drive strong online & offline coverage of key campaigns and menu launches.
    • Manage the Zizzi ‘On Us’ influencer program with the help of PR agency. Day to day management of program – regularly reviewing, analysing and reporting on performance to ensure return on investment, that we’re working with the right ambassadors, and future opportunities.
    • Input into wider campaign design and planning (e.g. Christmas or new menu launch), attend brand team meetings with the creative agency and bring your ideas on how to amplify across digital touchpoints.
    • Competitive tracking – be the go-to person in the marketing team for what our hospitality competitors are delivering across their online channels, and recommendations on test & learn opportunities.
    • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key contacts external agencies to ensure agency effectiveness (Propeller and The Academy).
    • Ownership of Zizzi “earned” digital presence and partner branding – building rapport with sites such as Tripadvisor, Google, Deliveroo, Tastecard etc, making sure they are up to date and aligned to Zizzi branding.
    • Performance reporting and insight – Reporting on a weekly basis is essential to the Zizzi business

    What we're looking for

    A key player in the Zizzi marketing team, you will own the execution across all digital marketing touchpoints, amplifying brand campaigns across all digital touchpoints and ensuring that the platforms are optimised to deliver the Zizzi brand and business. The key channels for which you’ll be responsible are the Zizzi website, social media channels (including paid campaigns) and e-mail creative. The ideal candidate would have a passion for, and expertise in, online marketing, combined with a creative flair and solid analytical thinking. This role also requires strong collaboration with graphic designers and external agencies.

    Skills Required

    • Degree educated
    • Demonstrate experience in online marketing via study, work experience or previous roles
    • A natural passion for, and hunger to stay at the cutting-edge of, online marketing
    • A motivated self-starter who can work autonomously but solicit help and feedback when needed
    • Creative flair and eye for detail.
    • Excellent copywriting and communication skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively across different functions including Graphic Designers, Operations and External Agencies
    • Able to think strategically and commercially analyse the impact of digital marketing activity.
    • A strong passion for food and eating out
